Not as good as it probably used to be.

This book was probably great for its time (1972). I think it's a bit outdated in execution, although the message still resonates today. This book was at the beginning of teaching people about the topic, and it deserves some historical credit for that.

The Storm Book

Quick review.

Review:

Interesting use of onomatopoeia. Kind of annoying how the pages alternate between only text and only pictures, instead of combining the two like most picture books do. A storm comes, and a little boy asks his mom questions about what's happening, and she flat out lies to him.
